The Federal Aviation management (FAA) has revoked the pilot’s permit of YouTuber Trevor Jacob after a 2021 crash the FAA claims James “purposely” caused in November.
In, Jacob traveled over Los Padres National Forest in California November. Jacob posted a video clip that is 12-minute of the crash to their YouTube channel which includes received significantly more than 1.7 million views, in line with the movie’s YouTube web page.
“You operated this journey to purposely cause N29508 to crash,” the FAA stated in a page to Jacob dated 11, 2022 April.

The FAA said Jacob’s flight was “careless or reckless to be able to endanger living or home of some other” and said Jacob must surrender his personal pilot’s license effective immediately within the page.
“The FAA raised some findings which are astonishing,” Jacob told ABC News when asked Thursday in regards to the letter.
“I didn’t leap away from my plane for views,” Jacob told ABC News. “Some state my aircraft N29508 is still in perfect condition inside an airport hangar.”
Based on the page sent by the FAA in very early April, Jacob connected cameras that are multiple the inside and outside the plane and was wearing a sports parachute in a backpack throughout the trip. The FAA claims Jacob started the general part home for the airplane claiming the engine had been unsuccessful.
The FAA notes that Jacob would not attempt to restart the motor, contact air traffic controllers concerning the nagging problem, or search for areas to land properly. The FAA stated Jacob then jumped from the plane “while holding a camera mounted on a selfie stick.”
Within the YouTube video, Jacob states, “This is exactly why I always fly with a parachute.”
